Five woven blue-green arms radiate outward from a white-rimmed opening, its dark center ringed by a crown of small yellow tufts like teeth or stamens. The form reads unmistakably as a sea creature — starfish, urchin, or something stranger — its arms bending and curling with the same handmade irregularity that gives the piece its life. What could be a simple radial pattern instead feels caught mid-motion, part specimen and part invention, as if pulled straight from some unfamiliar tide pool.
