A tightly woven yellow form swells like a bulb, its tapered body narrowing toward a fringed opening where loose yellow and red stem-ends spring free — the red tangled at the core like exposed vessels breaking through the surface. Part fruit, part organ, the piece sits somewhere between botanical and anatomical, its dense woven skin barely containing what pushes up and out of it.
