This wool basket features a two-color geometric pattern inspired by a traditional Filipino twill design. My interest stems from my mother’s heritage. The motif of sentinel canines wraps the form in repeating bands, while a thick braided rim adds strength and structure. The piece highlights the durability of the materials and the clarity of the pattern work, bringing together two cultures.
