Sweet grass, found stone, waxed linen thread (coiling, drilling, stitching)

I wove this form from sweetgrass, attaching and balancing it on a found stone to explore weight, tension, and trust. The basket form leans, seemingly held by gravity and friction. I’m interested in how humble materials demand precision and how light and shadow reveal structure, vulnerability, and a quiet, working resilience.
