2508-RG (owl #15)
Sweet grass, found stone, waxed linen thread (coiling, drilling, stitching)
3” x 5” x 5.5”
I coil natural fibers affixed to a found stone into a continuous spiral. The form seems to compress, folding inward. A small stone wedge arrests the motion, fixing tension and shadow in place. The vessel reads as both a container and a gesture, recording pressure, resistance, and the balance between pliable fiber and rigid stone.
Enjoy your day!!
