The text here comes from my mother. She, like many of us, is consistently searching for touchstones that may help make her, and us, better people. The idea of moving through life calmly, but still able to be excited about life speaks to a balance.
I took my mom's words and added a flowering bush as symbolic of steady growth; a growth that occurs when the plant is properly cared for, but also one that can overcome many obstacles.
