Sweetgrass, found stone, artificial sinew (coiling, drilling, stitching)

The weaving’s concentric patterns ground the work in utility, while the inserted rock “arrow” disrupts that logic. By piercing balance with weight, I’m exploring care against force and function against monumentality. The piece holds a tension between shelter and threat, craft and geology. It asks how making and violence share the same center.
