This is my first piece of 2024!
A friend had said she saw tripods in my future, and this idea was born. I like the strong definition of the center and the contrast in the orange sinew and natural materials. However, the “legs” are not as secure as I’d like having a bit too much play in them.
Experiments:
Working with three longer stones
Wrapping each stone with sinew to start, weaving them separately, then attaching them to each other
Leaving openings in the base, forming triangles of a sort
