This basket was made under the instruction of Amy Krone. Amy is a self-taught basket weaver and the founder of Cambium Lost Arts. This frame basket is made from carved white oak ribs. The weaving is done with skeined willow, a process that involves splitting individual willow rods into three and processing them to size.
