This handwoven vessel features a red oak tree motif on a green background, crafted using full-twist twining—a technique associated with the weaving traditions of the Columbia Plateau. Its sturdy construction and braided rim highlight the attention to detail, blending regional weaving styles with contemporary design. Derk was a best friend of mine who passed away in 2020.
